Sandcastle Care aims to inspire and enable young people to assume better control of their present and future. With this in mind young people and staff across Sandcastle Care held a charity fun day. PACE the chosen charity is a cause very close to the hearts of many within Sandcastle Care. PACE aims to transform the lives of children and young people providing education, therapy, and support to children aged 0 – 18 with motor disorders such as cerebral palsy and support to their families.
On the 9th of August 2019 Sandcastle hosted their very own Charity Fun day in aid PACE. Our amazing young people came together to plan, and host the very best charity fun day that summer would allow. The day ran perfectly around our wonderful English summer, the rain couldn’t stop the fun had by all. Everyone appeared to be having a fantastic time, you could see the smiles not only on the faces of our young people and staff from homes but also their families and children it was unbelievable!!
With the support from our amazing staff team who helped run the ice cream and wet sponge stalls, along with the Go Gadget goalkeeper challenge, cakes and bakes and of course the BBQ gang. We managed to raise an outstanding £744.81.
Well done to everybody, here’s to a bigger and better Sandcastle Care Summer Fun day 2020!!!
